Combining forecasts: Some managerial issues

The amount of research on combining forecasts is substantial. Yet, relatively little is known about when and how managers combine forecasts. Important managerial issues that require further study include managerial adjustment of quantitative forecasts, the use of expert systems in combining forecasts, and analyses of the costs of combining forecasts.
